- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪He does his job and is diligent about getting prescriptions refilled on time, and worked wonders fighting with my insurance company to get them to approve medication I needed. He also convinced me to get over my dislike of needles and take a medication that has greatly improved my quality of life. However, he has poor bedside manner. I always felt intimidated when I visited him because he was always so curt and seemed to disregard my concerns when I explained symptoms and health issues to him. He seemed rude and unsympathetic. He is also very against disability and refuses to acknowledge when his patients need assistance, I believe it is a personal hangup he has. This is the reason I left his care. My health was deteriorating so much and I needed a doctor that was more mindful of my rare conditions. When I got a new endocrinologist, they were appalled by the high dose of steroids he had me taking. They immediately put me on a more reasonable dose, and my symptoms greatly improved. Overall, he is a good doctor if you need care for diabetes or generalized endocrinology treatments and even Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency, but I do not recommend him for treatment of Addison's Disease or Adrenal Insufficiency, as he seemed to have poor knowledge of the dangers of high steroid dosage, and his prescribed amounts were causing serious side effects and negatively affecting my health. AGAIN, I still can't say much negative about him considering he did understand the importance of taking growth hormone to treat my deficiency, and I really think he helped me a lot there. I have mixed feelings about him, but I would not go back to his care given the opportunity.July 12, 2017by Sunny Ammerman
